Ambrose Alli University:  Obaseki approves extension of Special Intervention Team’s tenure

The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has approved the extension of the tenure of the current Ambrose Alli University Special Intervention Team by nine months, Myschoolnews report.

In a statement, Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq, said the approval of the extension of the tenure of the state-owned university Special Intervention Team is with immediate effect.

He noted, “His Excellency, Governor Godwin Obaseki in exercise of the power vested on him as the Visitor of the Ambrose Alli University in Section 3, Sub-section B of the Ambrose Alli University Ekpoma Special Intervention Law, has approved the extension of the tenure of the current Ambrose Alli University Special Intervention Team by Nine (9) Months with immediate effect.”

“This is to enable them sustain the positive transformation they have brought to bear since they took over the administration of the University. The Governor wishes them well in the discharge of their duties,” Ogie added.
