The wage award, initiated by Governor Chukwuma Soludo at N12,000 per worker for a four-month period starting in September, was initially welcomed as a lifeline for educators grappling with rising living costs. However, its sudden withdrawal has plunged many into financial distress, hindering their ability to provide for themselves and their families.
