Anambra School Triumphs in National Quiz Championship

Michael Tansi Memorial secondary school Aguleri, Anambra State has emerged the overall winner of the National Quiz and Debate Championship organized by the United Organization for Education and sports Development Nigeria.
The competition involved secondary schools in Nigeria. In the first stage, some schools were eliminated during the preliminary round. The second stage featured a quiz with 50 schools that had advanced from the preliminary stage. Topics covered included Mathematics, Science, General Studies, and General Debate.
The Anambra school in Aguleri emerged as the winner, securing the first prize with 208 points.

The Tansi students were presented with plagues and the star prize.
Receiving the champions, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the First Lady of Anambra State, stated that "the Anambra students showcased their exceptional skills and knowledge."
She expressed her pride in the state's education sector, highlighting the investments and reforms made by Soludo's administration. "Excellence is, undoubtedly, made in Anambra State," she emphasized, underscoring the importance of providing every child in Anambra State with a platform to reach their full potential.
The second and third positions went to Marta Amabis Secondary School Umuoji Anambra State with 199 points and John Ikwensi Memorial Grammar school Emene Enugu state with 195 points.
