Aragbiji Appointed Pro-Chancellor of Adeyemi Federal University of Education
The appointment coincides with AFUED's 60th anniversary, during which the institution planned to honor Oba Olabomi with dual merit awards as "The Distinguished Alumnus" and "Fellow of AFUED." The Federal Government recognized his contributions and potential to enhance the university's growth and development.

The Federal Government of Nigeria, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has appointed Oba Abdur-Rasheed Ayotunde Olabomi Odundun IV, the Aragbiji of Iragbiji, as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Adeyemi Federal University of Education (AFUED), Ondo. Oba Olabomi, an alumnus of the institution, was selected for his distinguished service and leadership qualities.
Oba Olabomi, born into the Ajibode Ruling House of Iragbiji on October 29, 1962, has demonstrated significant commitment to personal and community development. He joined the Local Government Service Commission of Oyo State as an Administrative Officer in 1989 and rose to the position of Director of Personnel Management before his installation as a traditional ruler in 2008.

His Majesty holds fellowships with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM). He is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), highlighting his expertise in human resources and public relations.
