The Management of Aminu Saleh College of Education Azare has announced a revision of campus access points, reopening Gate-1 for full use while restricting Gate-2 to limited access due to congestion and safety concerns.
According to a circular issued by the Office of the Registrar, the decision followed sustained observation of traffic difficulties at Gate-2, which reportedly led to frequent disruptions affecting staff, students, and members of the public.
The management stated that the new access control arrangement was approved during a daily briefing held on Friday, March 27, 2026, and will take effect from Monday, March 30, 2026.
Under the new guidelines, Gate-1 (Main Gate) will serve as the primary entry and exit point for both vehicular and pedestrian movement across the campus. Gate-2, however, will be closed to routine traffic and restricted to pedestrians only, emergency vehicles, and authorized service deliveries.

The institution also directed all staff and students, including residents of FUHSA hostels within the college environment, to ensure they carry valid identification cards at all times for verification purposes.
Management urged full compliance with the directive, noting that the changes are aimed at improving security, easing movement, and enhancing operational efficiency within the campus environment. It also expressed regret over any inconvenience caused, while appreciating the cooperation of the college community.
The directive was signed on behalf of the Registrar of the institution, Suleiman Shehu.
