ASUU-BUK Condemns Federal Government for Unpaid Promotion Arrears and Allowances

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Bayero University Kano (BUK) chapter, has voiced concerns regarding the Federal Government's failure to pay promotion arrears for its members. ASUU-BUK Chairman, Comrade Ibrahim Siraj, highlighted this issue during a news conference at the union’s secretariat on Friday. Siraj emphasized that numerous academics across Nigerian universities are also awaiting their promotion arrears and salary adjustments.
