ASUU Federal University of Kashere Branch Announces Strike Action

ASUU Federal University of Kashere Branch Declares Strike Action

The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Federal University of Kashere branch has announced that its members will proceed on a total and comprehensive strike action effective from Friday, July 4, 2025, at 12:00 am. The strike is in response to the delay in the payment of June 2025 salaries.

According to the union, the decision to go on strike was made in line with the Pre-NDC NEC Resolution and the Branch Congress Resolution on delay in payment of salaries. The union has activated its Strike Monitoring Committee to ensure total compliance from its members.

The strike will continue until the June 2025 salaries are paid, and members have been advised to ensure full compliance. Solidarity among union members is expected to be maintained throughout the duration of the strike.
