ATBU Bauchi Appeals to Governor Bala for Improved Road Infrastructure at Gubi Campus

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has appealed to Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad, to address the pressing issue of inadequate road infrastructure within the Gubi main campus. The university's management highlighted the urgent need for an internal road network, the installation of solar-powered street lights, and the rehabilitation of roads that have been in use since the 1980s.

The call for intervention was made by ATBU's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kunya, represented by Malam Aminu Yakubu Adamu, the Acting Director of the Physical Planning Unit, during a visit by the Commissioner of the Ministry of Works and Transport, Hon. Ibrahim Gambo Galadima. According to the university’s management, the Federal Ministry of Education does not cover road construction projects, making state-level support crucial.
