The Students Union Government of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (SUG-ATBU) is pleased to provide you with important information regarding recent developments concerning school fees and the upcoming academic session
After engaging in a series of constructive meetings with the school management to address concerns related to school fees, we are delighted to share the following updates, the school management has approved the following adjustments, which are currently under consideration by the Federal Ministry of Education.

We believe that with this information students will be better prepared for the registration fees.
⚫ Returning students: will pay #69,700 as their new school fees.
⚫ Fresh students: are expected to pay #79,700 as their school fees.
⚫ Faculty of Environmental and Engineering (400L) Students: Students in these faculties are required to pay N39,700 for one semester, reflecting their unique program duration.
⚫ Industrial Training (I.T) Students Other than faculty of engineering and environmental will pay #20,000 for I.T registration.
The management has also approved that students will have the option to pay fees in two installments, aligning with the first and second semesters.

Resumption Dates: The resumption dates for the upcoming academic session stand still as follows.
Returning students: 26th October, 2023
Fresh students: 30th October, 2023.
Hostel Fees: The matter of hostel fees is still under discussion. The Students Union Government advocates against any increment in hostel fees. Instead, we are actively pushing for general renovations across the hostels to enhance living conditions.
We want to reassure every student that the Students Union Government is committed to protecting your interests. Our primary focus is on the welfare and well-being of students. We understand that these decisions may not align with everyone's wishes, but we are sorry for inconveniences.

⚫ Medical College Students: Returning students are expected to pay: . N130,000 and N150,000 for fresh students.
