In a recent development, Atiku Abubakar, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, has provided an explanation for the discrepancy in his West African Examination Council (WAEC) result, where his name was listed as "Sadiq Abubakar." This revelation comes amid allegations of certificate forgery and a heightened political discourse regarding educational qualifications.

Ajayi emphasized that Atiku wants Nigerians to accept his explanation that "Sadiq Abubakar" is indeed him, as he had sworn an affidavit to that effect.
