The American University of Nigeria (AUN) has commenced its 3rd International Conference, themed "A Multidisciplinary Approach to Confronting Security and Food Crises in Nigeria." The conference brings together distinguished scholars and experts to discuss the pressing issues of food security and insecurity in Nigeria.
In her keynote address, the Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, highlighted the dual challenges of food crises and insecurity, emphasizing the essential role of food security in human survival. She commended the organizers for recognizing the link between insecurity and food crises, which has hindered food production in Nigeria.
The conference aims to leverage collective expertise to drive meaningful solutions and build a safer, more resilient future. With a multidisciplinary approach, participants will explore realistic areas to find solutions to these pressing issues .
