Baba Ahmed University Kano has emerged victorious in the 2025 National Orientation Agency (NOA) North-West Zonal Face-to-Face Campus Debate, held in Kaduna. The university's team outperformed other institutions in the zone, securing the top spot.

The debate, themed "Defining Nigerian Identity in Nigeria's Multicultural Society," aimed to foster patriotism, tolerance, inclusivity, and national pride among students. The NOA Director-General, Lanre Issa-Onilu, emphasized the importance of critical thinking and embracing diversity as a strength, while rejecting social vices like cultism, drug abuse, and violence.

The winning team will proceed to the National Grand Finale in Abuja, scheduled to coincide with Nigeria's 64th Independence Anniversary, where they will compete against winners from other zones.
