Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) Issues Urgent Notice on Conclusion of 2023/2024 Session

The Management of the Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) has issued an important notice to all her students on the conclusion of the 2023/2024 academic session.

The Senate of the Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) at its 51st regular meeting held on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, deliberated on the above matter and resolved as follows:

Holiday for the 2023/2024 academic session begins on Friday, October 11, 2024. 100 level students resume for verification, registration and enrolment on Monday. November 4, 2024, for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Returning students resume for the 2024/2025 academic session on Friday, November 15, 2024.

Registration for returning students commences on Monday, November 18, 2024, for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Consequently, I am directed to inform all Deans of Faculty and Heads of Department to take note cf the dates indicated above.

All students (with the exception of those on clinical postings) are mandated to vacate the halls of residence on or before Sunday, October 13, 2024.
