UDUS Law Faculty Cancels LAWSAN Hangout Event

The Faculty of Law at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS) has cancelled the upcoming Law Students' Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN) Hangout event, themed "LAWSAN Sallah Hangout."

The cancellation was announced by the Faculty Dean, Professor A.R.S. Matazu, during the Ramadan lecture organized by the Nigeria Association of Muslim Law Students (NAMLAS), UDUS Chapter, on March 22, 2025.

The event, initially scheduled to take place on the fourth day after Salah, featured various activities, including dancing, talk sessions, open mic, and karaoke. However, citing concerns over the event, Professor Matazu ordered its cancellation, stating that it shall not hold as planned.
