University of Abuja Mourns the Loss of Comrade Habibu Danjuma, NAAT Chairman

The University of Abuja community is saddened to announce the passing of Comrade Habibu Danjuma, Chairman of the University's branch of the National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT).

Late Danjuma, a Chief Technologist in the Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture, died on [date] at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, after a brief illness. He was 53 years old.

Comrade Danjuma, who joined the University in 2007, was a dedicated staff member and unionist committed to the welfare of his colleagues. He served as NAAT branch chairman from 2019 to 2023 and was re-elected for a second term in January 2024.

The University extends its deepest condolences to his family, including his wives, children, and aged father, as well as his friends and colleagues. May his soul rest in peace.
