UNILAG CMUL Leadership Conducts Campus Walkthrough, Assesses Ongoing Projects

The leadership of the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL), led by the Chairman of the Court of Governors, Dr. Aderemi Desalu, and the Provost, Professor Ademola Oremosu, conducted a comprehensive campus walkthrough on Friday, February 28, 2025.

The visit aimed to inspect ongoing construction projects, assess student hostels, and engage with the college management to evaluate infrastructure development and reinforce CMUL's commitment to academic excellence and student welfare.

Accompanying the top officials were the Deputy Provost, Prof. Daniel Odebiyi; College Secretary, Dr. Olayinka Obafemi Moses; Director of Finance, Dr. Simeon Akinade; Director of Engineering, Engr. Olatunbosun Oloyede; College Librarian, Dr. Omolola Ibikunle; Dean of Clinical Sciences, Prof. Vincent Osunkalu; and Dean of Dental Sciences, Prof. Olalekan Gbotolorun.

During the assessment, the leadership team reviewed the progress of various infrastructural projects, ensuring that they align with the institution’s standards and objectives. The inspection also included an evaluation of student hostels, with a focus on improving living conditions and enhancing the overall learning environment.

The campus walkthrough reaffirmed CMUL’s dedication to fostering a conducive academic atmosphere through continuous development and strategic planning. The management expressed satisfaction with the progress made and reiterated their commitment to maintaining high standards in medical education and research.
