Bayero University Kano Announces New Appointments

The Vice Chancellor of Bayero University Kano (BUK), Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, has approved the appointments of 17 staff members as Heads of Department (HODs) across various faculties.

The appointments are effective from July 14, 2025, to July 13, 2027, except for Professor Rabin Ado, whose appointment as HOD of the Department of Accounting takes effect on August 14, 2025.

The appointees include professors and doctors in various departments, such as Quranic Studies, Sharia, Hadith Studies, Anthropology, Philosophy, Diplomatic Studies, Health Education and Promotion, Human Kinetics, Technology Education, Science Education, Foundation Education, Educational Management and Policies, Curriculum and Educational Technology, Community Development, Continuing Education, Special Education, and Accounting.

The appointments are effective from July 14, 2025, to July 13, 2027, with the exception of Professor Rabin Ado's appointment, which takes effect on August 14, 2025.
