Borno State Commissioner Donates Buses to Ease Transportation Challenges for BOSU Students

In a gesture aimed at alleviating the transportation challenges faced by students of Borno State University (BOSU), the Commissioner for Youth, Sports and Poverty Alleviation, Honourable Saina T Buba, has donated two buses exclusively for student transportation.

 

The Commissioner's decision was prompted by his personal experience of witnessing students trekking long distances to access transportation. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the vehicles and urged the university management to repair the university's own free shuttle buses to complement the donated buses .

Honourable Buba stated, "We must ensure these buses ease students' hardships." The representative of the Registrar, BOSU, Sheriff Taibu Benisheik, thanked the Commissioner for the donation, assuring that the vehicles would be well-maintained and utilized judiciously for the benefit of the students.
