Borno State University is currently abuzz with excitement as its inaugural Social Week is underway. The highly anticipated event, organized by the university's student union, kicked off on Friday, November 15, and will run until Thursday, November 21.
The week-long celebration promises an unforgettable experience, showcasing the university's vibrant culture and spirit. Each day features a unique theme, allowing students to express themselves through fashion, sports, and creativity.
So far, the event has seen students participate in:
  • Jallabiya/Abaya Day on Friday, November 15, which kicked off the celebrations in traditional style
  • Color Festival on Saturday, November 16, which painted the campus in a splash of colors
  • Jersey/Inter Faculty Football Final on Monday, November 18, which saw students cheer on their favorite teams

The remaining lineup includes:
  • Costume Day on Tuesday, November 19
  • Rag/Corporate Day on Wednesday, November 20
  • Old School/Uniform Day on Thursday, November 21

NUBOSS President, Comr. Abdullahi Mohammed Wajiro, and S.U.G President, Comr. Babakura Babakaka, are urging students to dress up, bring their energy, and join in the celebrations.
