Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria, has announced its invitation for applications from qualified candidates to fill various teaching and non-teaching staff positions. This call is open for the College of Health Sciences, College of Environmental Sciences, and several non-teaching roles within the Registry, Bursary, and Directorate of Student Support Services.

Teaching Positions Available

The University is seeking experienced faculty members in the fields of Nursing Science, Anatomy, and Surveying and Geoinformatics, with openings for Professors, Associate Professors (Readers), Assistant Professors (Senior Lecturers), and Lecturers. Ideal candidates must possess relevant PhD qualifications, a proven track record in university-level teaching, and substantial scholarly publications.

In the Nursing Programme, positions are available for Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors. Candidates must have a PhD in Nursing Science, with at least six years of university teaching experience, and demonstrate leadership in academic research. Similarly, in Anatomy, the University is looking for candidates with a medical background and a PhD in Anatomy, along with significant teaching experience.

In the Surveying and Geoinformatics Programme, Bowen University is seeking candidates who hold a PhD in relevant fields and possess at least five years of teaching and research experience at the university level.

Non-Teaching Positions

In addition to academic roles, Bowen University is also hiring for several administrative and support positions. These include:

Administrative Officer II in the Registry, requiring a strong academic background in Management Science or related fields, along with digital proficiency.

Clerical/Computer Operator, responsible for daily clerical tasks and computer operations in the Registry.

Senior Accountant and Accountant I in the Bursary, both roles requiring advanced degrees in Accounting or related fields, and experience with financial management.
