The Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos (UNIJOS), Professor Tanko Ishaya, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Executive Officer of Digital Bridge Institute (DBI), Daser David, at the DBI headquarters in Abuja. The visit served to congratulate the CEO on his appointment and to explore collaborative opportunities aimed at integrating digital technology into education.

During the discussions, both leaders emphasized the importance of equipping students with 21st-century digital skills. Professor Tanko commended DBI's role in advancing digital inclusion and acknowledged the significant impact of the Advanced Digital Empowerment Programme for Tertiary Institutions (ADEPTI), initiated by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) in partnership with DBI. He noted that the program has been instrumental in enhancing the capacity of both academic and non-academic staff at UNIJOS.
