Breaking News: Abia State Appoints New Head of Service

In a significant administrative shake-up, Abia State Governor Alex Otti has appointed Mrs. Ngozi Queen Obioma as the new Head of Service (HoS). The announcement, made through a statement by the Secretary to Abia State Government, Professor Kenneth Kalu, takes effect from December 1, 2023.

Mrs. Obioma assumes the role, replacing the acting Head of Service, Joy Maduka, who had been appointed in June by Governor Otti. The governor expressed his gratitude to Maduka for her dedicated service and wished her success in her future endeavors.
