In a remarkable academic journey, Promise Ayomide Adekola, a Nigerian prodigy, has achieved extraordinary milestones by gaining admission to Cyprus International University at the age of 14 and earning two Master's degrees along with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree by the age of 20.

At 14, Promise met the educational requirements with five credits in the West African Examination Council (WAEC) to secure admission to Cyprus University. Recently, she celebrated the completion of her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Cyprus International University. In addition, she holds dual Master's degrees from Cyprus University and the University of Rome Tor Vergata in Cyprus.

Expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to study in Cyprus, Promise highlighted the favorable environment, affordable tuition, and quality education as key factors recommended by her parents.

Her journey into Pharmacy, sparked by a health-related course in secondary school, led her to choose a path where she could help people without direct exposure to wounds and patient pain.While in Cyprus, Promise faced challenges, including overcoming language barriers. However, she learned Turkish, facilitating effective communication and enriching her overall experience.

Studying abroad provided Promise with diverse opportunities, allowing her to meet people from various countries, learn about different cultures, and receive an excellent education at Cyprus International University. She acknowledged the hospitality and friendliness of Cyprus Nationals, contributing to her personal growth.

Attributing her success to the grace of God, Promise encountered distractions and discouragement during her studies. However, her determination, coupled with a desire to make her parents proud, fueled her academic pursuits.

Looking ahead, Promise plans to pursue a PhD in Pharmacy driven by her passion for teaching. She aspires to contribute to research and development in Nigeria and aims to establish a community pharmacy to educate local communities about healthy lifestyles, proper medication usage, and disease prevention.
