In a remarkable journey of academic prowess, Olalusi Victor, a Nigerian man with a degree in Architecture, has defied conventional paths by achieving a perfect 5.00 grade point average in Medicine at a Russian university.
Olalusi initially earned his first bachelor's degree in Architecture at the Federal University of Technology, showcasing extraordinary talent since high school, where he excelled in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) with distinctions in all subjects. Recognized as the best pre-degree student at FUTA, he secured admission to pursue Architecture, graduating with an outstanding 4.60 cumulative grade point and receiving the Dean's Departmental Award.

Driven by a passion for medicine, Olalusi pursued further studies at Obafemi Awolowo University, where his exceptional performance in the entrance exam led to an offer to study Medicine and Surgery. Four months into his program, he was honored with a Federal Government Scholarship award under the Russian-Nigerian Bilateral Education Agreement, facilitated by the Federal Scholarship Board (FSB).
Olalusi faced various challenges upon arriving in Russia, including adapting to a new environment, culture, language, and educational system. His resilience shone through as he navigated racism, discrimination, and isolation, emerging stronger and more determined to achieve his goals.

Undeterred by obstacles, Olalusi im mersed himself in diligent study, active class participation, and learning the Russian language and culture. Over the course of seven years, he achieved a perfect 5.00 grade point in every semester, a feat unparalleled in academic history.
Beyond academics, Olalusi engaged in extracurricular activities such as sports, music, and volunteering, earning recognition as one of the best students in the faculty. In 2013, he made history as the first person worldwide to graduate as a Medical Doctor with a perfect 5.00 grade point average. His exceptional achievement was further acknowledged by various organizations, including the Federal Ministry of Education in Abuja, the Russian Embassy, Ondo State Government, FUTA Alumni Association, and the Nigerian Medical Association.
