An outstanding achievement unfolds as Makenzie Thompson, an 18-year-old graduate from Westlake High School in Atlanta, Georgia, gains admission to an impressive 49 US universities. Graduating with a stellar 4.0 GPA, Makenzie's exceptional academic record, combined with her dedication to extracurricular activities, garnered her acceptances from 49 out of 51 universities she applied to.

After thorough consideration, Makenzie decided to attend Tuskegee University in Alabama, drawn by its welcoming environment and campus life. Her ambition to become a veterinarian aligns with Tuskegee's reputation for training Black veterinarians. She is set to embark on this academic journey in the upcoming fall.
