BUK Agricultural Ambassadors Launch Tree Planting and Agro-Schooling Project

The Agricultural Ambassadors of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) have launched the first phase of their tree planting and agro-schooling project at the Staff Secondary School of Bayero University, Kano.

The project aims to promote sustainable agriculture, food security, and environmental conservation.

The objectives of the agro-schooling project include:

- Building a new generation of agricultural students through training and preparation

- Promoting sustainable and responsible agricultural practices

- Enhancing food security

- Developing cutting-edge agricultural technologists, innovators, and leaders

- Improving awareness and understanding of agriculture among consumers

- Contributing to rural economic development and growth

- Strengthening the connection between urban and rural agricultural communities

This project is part of the global reforestation efforts, aimed at restoring areas affected by deforestation. By planting seedlings and nurturing their growth, the association hopes to transform barren landscapes into thriving forests.

The Agricultural Ambassadors Association seeks to inspire communities, organizations, and individuals to come together to protect and restore natural resources. Through collective efforts, they aim to create a brighter future where forests are preserved, biodiversity thrives, and the beauty of nature is cherished.
