BUK Lecturer Dr. Auwalu Halilu Elected Chairman of Kano State Accountability Forum on Education

Dr. Auwalu Halilu , a lecturer in the Department of Adult Education and Community Services at Bayero University, Kano, has been elected as the new Chairman of the Kano State Accountability Forum on Education (K-SAFE).

During the inauguration ceremony, Commissioner of Education Alhaji Umar Haruna Doguwa pledged his support to the new leadership, offering his guidance and expertise to enhance education in Kano State. He encouraged the new executives to build upon the achievements of their predecessors and explore innovative solutions to improve the education sector.

Commissioner Doguwa also announced plans to reopen 7-10 boarding schools closed by the previous administration, demonstrating the state's commitment to expanding access to quality education.
