BUK SUG ELECTION:Resolution Reached After Meeting , BUKIECO Addresses Political Misconceptions

In a commendable effort to defuse tensions stemming from recent political misconceptions, the Bayero University Kano Interim Electoral Committee (BUKIECO) convened a crucial meeting on September 27, 2023.

The meeting saw the participation of both presidential candidates: Hisham Ahmad Adam (Due Process) and Aliyu Abdullahi Mahmud (Sadauki). Both candidates presented their accounts of the events that transpired on September 26, 2023, and presented compelling evidence to substantiate their claims. Importantly, both candidates distanced themselves from the incidents in question.

Following careful deliberation, a harmonious resolution was achieved, effectively putting to rest any lingering disputes. BUKIECO, in its wisdom, imposed fines on the two factions involved, with the intent of serving as a preventive measure against any future political misunderstandings.

This development highlights BUKIECO's commitment to maintaining a peaceful and conducive environment for the forthcoming elections at Bayero University Kano.
