Amidst a gathering marking the end of the first term for the 2023/2024 academic session, Command Secondary School Auno commemorated the remarkable achievements and support received, extending appreciation to key figures who contributed to the institution's progress.

Acting Commandant Major I M Imam expressed gratitude to Governor Babagana Umara Zulum for steadfast support channeled through the State Ministry of Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation. The governor's backing encompassed infrastructural renovations, furnishings, and the deployment of state-paid educators. This vital assistance, orchestrated by Commissioner Engr Abba Lawan Wakibe, earned commendation for its role in the school's success.

Additionally, the Acting Commandant acknowledged the NorthEast Development Commission, particularly CEO Alkali Goni, for their generous provision of free school uniforms and essential food items, significantly benefiting the school community.

The event celebrated the academic excellence of students, featuring awards for outstanding performances across various categories. Notably, students in senior and junior categories, the neatest individuals, hardworking students, best teachers, and top house received well-deserved recognition.

Major Imam extended appreciation to parents and guardians for their cooperation, emphasizing its crucial role in the school's advancement. He announced the resumption date for the second term on January 6, 2024, while cautioning against any delay, citing disciplinary measures for tardiness.
