Nasarawa Speaker Danladi Jatau Commends FULafia VC Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman for Exemplary Leadership and Development

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA), Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has commended Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), for his exemplary leadership and developmental strides.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor's office in Lafia, Jatau expressed the Assembly's satisfaction with the progress made under Professor Abdul Rahman’s administration. He highlighted the importance of fostering collaboration between the University's Management and the Assembly to advance education across Nasarawa State.

One of the key achievements noted by the Speaker was the recent presidential approval for the conversion of the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital into the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital. He congratulated the Vice-Chancellor and the University community on this milestone, praying for continued good health and wisdom for Professor Abdul Rahman and his team as they discharge their duties.

In his response, Professor Abdul Rahman expressed gratitude to the Speaker and members of the Assembly for their ongoing support, especially in facilitating the establishment of the teaching hospital. He also acknowledged their role in promoting peace in the state. The Vice-Chancellor congratulated the Speaker on his emergence as the leader of the 7th Assembly and wished him a successful tenure.
