The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA), Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, has commended Professor Shehu Abdul Rahman, the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), for his exemplary leadership and developmental strides.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor's office in Lafia, Jatau expressed the Assembly's satisfaction with the progress made under Professor Abdul Rahman’s administration. He highlighted the importance of fostering collaboration between the University's Management and the Assembly to advance education across Nasarawa State.

One of the key achievements noted by the Speaker was the recent presidential approval for the conversion of the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital into the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital.
