Condolences as FULafia Mourns the Loss of Mohammed Abdullahi Sarki's Wife

It is with heavy hearts that the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) community mourns the passing of Hurera, the beloved wife of one of its staff members, Mohammed Abdullahi Sarki, affectionately known as Abashiya. Hurera peacefully departed from this world on Thursday, October 5, 2023, after a battle with illness.

The news of Hurera's passing has brought profound sadness to the FULafia family, and the University community stands in solidarity with Mohammed Abdullahi Sarki and his family during this difficult time.

The funeral prayer for the late Hurera was attended by notable dignitaries, including the Vice-Chancellor of FULafia, Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Administration, Prof. Ali Shugaba, the Registrar, Nuradeen Abdu, Ma’adakin Lafia, Alhaji Isiyaka Dauda, and many others. The funeral prayer took place in Akunza, Lafia Local Government Area.
