COOUNEWS Appoints New Leadership for Igbariam Campus

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University has announced the appointment of Comr. Okoli Somtochukwu (Head, 400 Level) and Comr. Ezeigweneme Lilian (Deputy Head, 300 Level) as the new leadership of the COOUNEWS correspondents’ team for Igbariam Campus.

This marks the first time in the history of COOUNEWS that two Mass Communication students are leading the campus team, a milestone reflecting the growing influence and excellence of the Department in campus journalism. Both appointees have distinguished themselves through dedication, creativity, and exceptional service to the University community.

The University’s Public Relations Unit, committed to mentoring students aspiring to excel in media and communications, expressed confidence that Comr. Somtochukwu and Comr. Lilian will guide the correspondents with vision, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility.
