Dr. David O. Oyedepo, Chancellor of Covenant University, has urged students to engage in productive activities during their Omega Semester break. Speaking at the Departure Assembly, he emphasized spiritual growth and warned against idleness, quoting John 6:63 and Evangelist Billy Graham. Dr. Oyedepo encouraged students to prioritize work over pleasure and use their holiday for constructive activities.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Abiodun H. Adebayo praised students for their improved exam conduct and highlighted the University's achievements over the session. Registrar Mrs. Regina Tobi David advised students to spend their break wisely and remember their role as University ambassadors. The event was attended by other University officials, including Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Olujide Adekeye.
