In a bid to uphold Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's MORE Agenda for all Deltans, the Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the Governor, Sir Festus Ahon, visited Erhavwen Secondary School in Ekrerhavwen-Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State. His purpose was to pay the West African Examination Council (WAEC) enrolment fees for indigent students.

Sir Ahon emphasized the significance of education in community development, stating, "Education is key to the development of any community and once our children are educated, they will be able to contribute their quota to the development of the community in the future."

During his visit, he urged the school's principal and staff to guide the students towards good conduct and deter them from engaging in social vices that could hinder their education and life goals.

Mrs. Patience Ekakitie, the School Principal, expressed gratitude for the kind gesture, assuring that the students would excel in their exams. Additionally, Mr. Sunday Damatie, a teacher at the school and trustee of the Ekrerhavwen-Agbarho community, commended Sir Ahon for his humanitarian efforts and appealed for assistance in fencing the school premises to prevent encroachment.
