In a night of celebration and recognition, Dr. Chukwuemeka Okolie, a distinguished business magnate, and versatile professional, was bestowed with the Award of Excellence by Nnamdi Azikiwe University. The honor, presented during the Alumni homecoming and award ceremony organized by the Faculty of Management Sciences, commended Dr. Okolie's outstanding contributions to education, business, professional diversification, and service to humanity.
As the Chairman of Aleppo Properties Ltd, Chudano Contracts & Consults Ltd, and Mariston Int’l General Trading Ltd, Dr. Okolie's entrepreneurial acumen and commitment to societal development were lauded by the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Charles Esimone, FAS. The recognition positions Dr. Okolie as a role model of distinction within the realms of educational support and business.

The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Pius Okoye, highlighted the purpose of the event, emphasizing its focus on acknowledging the strong bond between the alumni and the university while appreciating the societal contributions of eminent Nigerians.
Dr. Okolie, an alumnus of several prestigious institutions including Leeds Beckett University, London School of Business and Finance, and University of Ulster, expressed his dedication to education and conflict resolution. His fellow awardees included notable figures such as Sen Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, Prof Gregory Nwakoby, Hon. Lilian Orogbu, Hon. Uche Ekwunife, High Chief Kenneth Ifekudu, HRH Igwe Chuwkuma Bob Orji, among others.
The award ceremony, a testament to the university's commitment to recognizing and appreciating the achievements of its alumni and eminent personalities, marks a milestone in the journey of Dr. Chukwuemeka Okolie, adding another feather to his cap of accomplishments.
