In a remarkable display of commitment to academic excellence, Dr. D. K. Olukoya, the General Overseer of MFM Worldwide, honoured 492 first-class students from various Nigerian universities during the 35th MFM Convention. 

The event aimed to encourage outstanding scholars and foster healthy competition among students.

Dr. Olukoya, addressing the congregation, emphasized the importance of celebrating academic achievement. He stated that recognizing exceptional students would inspire others to strive for excellence.

The beneficiaries of the prestigious Dr. D. K. Olukoya's First Class Award hailed from both private and public universities across Nigeria. Notable institutions included Mountain Top University, University of Nigeria, Afe-Babalola University, Ajayi Crowther University, Adekunle Ajasin University, University of Lagos, Federal University of Technology Akure, Lokoja, Owerri, and Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, among others.

The award, which included certificates of commendation and undisclosed cash prizes, has had a profound impact on the academic community. Dr. Olukoya revealed that the programme had witnessed an unprecedented surge in the number of first-class graduates. He reminisced, "When we began, we rewarded seventeen first-class students with cars. Today, we celebrate an astounding 492 first-class graduates, with Mountain Top University leading the way."

Dignitaries gracing the occasion included Prince Dapo Abiodun CON MFR, the Governor of Ogun State; Dr. Babajide Sanwoolu, Governor of Lagos State; and Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Governor of Delta State.
