Dr. Y.U. Ismaila Unveils New Leadership Framework for History & Diplomatic Studies at NSUK

In a move aimed at strengthening institutional coordination and advancing research-driven leadership, the Acting Head of the Department of History and Diplomatic Studies, Faculty of Arts, at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Dr. Y. U. Ismaila, has announced a comprehensive restructuring of departmental committees and key administrative offices.

The announcement, made during his inaugural staff meeting, signals the commencement of a strategic phase designed to enhance the department’s global research footprint while sustaining the highest standards of academic discipline.

Dr. Ismaila, who concurrently serves as Acting HOD and Director of the Centre for Historical Research and Heritage Preservation, stated that the appointments were guided strictly by merit, professional competence, and alignment with the University’s vision.
