Ekiti Governor Celebrates Student's Victory in National Essay Competition

Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji has congratulated Miss Faith Ayomide Ogundola for winning the 2024 Energy Essay Competition organized by the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). Ogundola, a student at Ekiti State University International College, secured first place with her essay on the New Customer Protection Regulation (CPR 2023).

Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has lauded Miss Faith Ayomide Ogundola for her remarkable achievement in the 2024 Energy Essay Competition organized by the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). Ogundola, a student at Ekiti State University International College in Ado Ekiti, clinched first place in the competition with her essay titled “How does the New Customer Protection Regulation (CPR 2023) Protect the Rights and Obligations of Electricity Customers?”

The competition, which saw participation from over 500 SS2 students across Nigeria, was evaluated by the West African Examinations Council. NERC celebrated Ogundola's achievement on their X handle, acknowledging her outstanding performance among the nation's top students.

Governor Oyebanji, through a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, expressed immense pride in Ogundola's success. He highlighted that the administration’s focus on education continues to bear fruit, with Ekiti youths making significant strides both nationally and globally.
