In a joint effort, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State (BCA) have emphasized the critical need for inclusive education for all school-age children. This call was made during a One-Day Multi-Zonal Press Conference held at Fidelma Hotel, Independence Layout Enugu, in celebration of the International Day of Education.

The communique issued at the end of the conference outlined several key points urging government action and stakeholder collaboration to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive education system. It specifically called for:

1. Qualitative Learning: Emphasizing the necessity for high-quality education in all schools.

2. Safe and Healthy Learning Environment: Advocating for schools to provide safe, hygienic, and protective environments for students.

3. Tightened Security: Recommending increased security measures in and around schools to ensure the safety of students.
