ESAN Releases Election Guidelines for 2023/2024 Academic Session at Nasarawa State University, Keffi
The positions of President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Financial Secretary are reserved exclusively for 300-level students, while other positions are open to students in 200-level and above, excluding 100-level students.

The Education Students' Association of Nigeria (ESAN) at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has released the election guidelines for the 2023/2024 academic session. According to the guidelines, any student contesting for an executive position must have a CGPA of at least 2.5, except for the President and Secretary General positions, which require a minimum CGPA of 3.00.
Additionally, final year or 400-level students are not permitted to contest for any executive position. The positions of President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Financial Secretary are reserved exclusively for 300-level students, while other positions are open to students in 200-level and above, excluding 100-level students.
Candidates must be full members of the association, have no examination malpractice or criminal record, and must not be on academic probation. Any member currently holding a position within the department or outside the faculty must resign to avoid disqualification.
The committee, chaired by Comr. Ibrahim Dogara Oboshi, emphasized that contestants must adhere to the guidelines to avoid disqualification during the election process.
