ESAN Releases Election Guidelines for 2023/2024 Academic Session at Nasarawa State University, Keffi

The Education Students' Association of Nigeria (ESAN) at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, has released the election guidelines for the 2023/2024 academic session. According to the guidelines, any student contesting for an executive position must have a CGPA of at least 2.5, except for the President and Secretary General positions, which require a minimum CGPA of 3.00.

Additionally, final year or 400-level students are not permitted to contest for any executive position. The positions of President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Financial Secretary are reserved exclusively for 300-level students, while other positions are open to students in 200-level and above, excluding 100-level students.

Candidates must be full members of the association, have no examination malpractice or criminal record, and must not be on academic probation. Any member currently holding a position within the department or outside the faculty must resign to avoid disqualification.
