Examinations Commence at NOUN Enugu Study Centre with Emphasis on Integrity and Punctuality

Prof. Okonkwo made the remarks while officially opening the 2025_2 students’ orientation and exams briefing on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the centre. She emphasised the importance of promptness during exams and identified Pen-on-Paper (POP) and Tutor-Marked Assignments (TMA) as the two types of assessments, noting that missing any component would result in an incomplete result.
The Professor of Measurement and Evaluation further stressed that certificates are awarded only to students deemed worthy in both character and academic performance, urging strict adherence to examination rules and regulations.
The Centre’s Principal Assistant Registrar (PAR), Mr. Mathew Egede, sensitised students on the operations and activities of the institution as an Open and Distance Learning (ODL) platform leveraging digital technology. He advised students to familiarise themselves with their respective desk officers, noting the presence of dedicated and well-trained staff assigned to support them.
Additionally, the Centre’s ICT System Analyst, Mr. Absalom Anum, provided demonstrations on accessing e-ticketing, e-learning, and the student portal.
