Exceptional 17-year-old Aysha Mann Graduates High School with 4.00 GPA, Making History
Mann's remarkable accomplishment also makes her the first student in the school's history to graduate within such a short timeframe since its inception.

Aysha Mann, a 17-year-old prodigy, has achieved an extraordinary milestone by graduating from North Side High School in the United States with a perfect 4.00 grade point average in just three years. Mann's remarkable accomplishment also makes her the first student in the school's history to graduate within such a short timeframe since its inception.
This outstanding achievement was made possible through the state's Move on When Ready Act, which not only requires students to meet regular graduation requirements but also mandates a score of 21 or better on the ACT, passing a nationally recognized language proficiency assessment, and completing two early post-secondary courses.

Expressing her excitement, Mann shared, "Being in Jackson, I didn’t really believe there was much for me. I wanted to start my college experience, and when I found out I had the opportunity, I couldn’t miss it."
Mann initiated the process for early graduation during middle school, attending the Academic Academy at Northeast Middle School, where she earned three high school credits. This early start allowed her to commence the required coursework in high school immediately. Throughout her high school journey, Mann not only earned state and local honors but also received distinctions such as the TN Hope Lotto Scholarship Award, TN Ready Graduate, TN Scholars, Community Service Award, Daughters of the American Revolution Award, AP English Excellence Award, Calculus Excellence Award, and the President's Academic Gold Level.
Her active involvement in extracurricular activities, including the National Honor Society, Beta Club, student council, book club, AP program, and Governor School for the Sciences and Engineering, demonstrated Mann's commitment to both academic excellence and community service. She also dedicated her time to volunteering with the American Care Center and special needs athletics.
Looking ahead, Aysha Mann plans to attend Mississippi State University, where she will major in Biomedical Engineering. She aspires to obtain her master's degree and hopes to contribute to research on tissue regeneration, particularly at a children's hospital.
