In a remarkable display of academic prowess, Sumayyah Abdallah, a 24-year-old graduate of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS), has secured the prestigious title of the best-graduating medical student for the 2022/2023 academic session, accompanied by an impressive collection of twenty-three awards.

Initiating her medical journey in 2015, Sumayyah spent eight years navigating the rigorous challenges of medical school. Her commitment to excellence did not waver even after getting married in 2021 immediately after completing 400-level. Remarkably, she gave birth just three weeks before her 500-level examinations, a testament to her tenacity and ability to balance multiple roles.
