His academic journey took him to the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom, where he earned a master's degree in Statistics with Medical Applications. Reflecting on being accepted into university at such a young age, Wang expressed modesty, emphasizing the importance of a balanced approach to education and mental well-being.

Wang attributed much of his success to his father, whom he described as the "main driver" throughout his childhood, actively seeking opportunities for his son despite his youth. Now, Wang has been accepted into the University of Edinburgh for his doctoral research, focusing on population health science.
