In a surprising turn of events, a prominent Army General has been sentenced to seven years in prison for theft. The case unfolded as the First Lady of Ekiti State, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, took a break from her official duties to impart knowledge to students at Ekiti State University (EKSU).

Dr. Oyebanji dedicated nearly two hours of her time to teach 300-level students in the Department of Education Management at EKSU. This initiative was her way of giving back to the community, as reported by Daily Trust.

The students were elated as Dr. Oyebanji shared her insights and wisdom with them, and she expressed her excitement at returning to EKSU, where she began her academic career. Dr. Oyebanji, who is presently awaiting her associate professorship, mentioned that she taught at EKSU for 12 years before relocating to Ibadan.
