The initiative is tied to the Green Rising Project for COP29, positioning young athletes as leaders in climate action. The Green FASU aims to integrate eco-friendly practices into the spirit of competition, offering exciting prizes such as tablets, smartphones, and much more.

Participants can monitor their contributions via the Carbon Medal Table, with the latest rankings released as of Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Every action you take at the games whether dropping off waste at designated recycling centers or conserving energy counts toward a greener future for Africa.
