The Federal Government has announced that Higher National Diploma (HND) graduates from polytechnics will now be required to undergo a one-year mandatory training program before entering the job market.

The decision, which has been met with mixed reactions from the public, is seen as an effort to address the long-standing disparity between HND and Bachelor's degree holders in terms of employment opportunities and career progression.
However, the announcement has also sparked concerns among some HND graduates, who fear that the additional year of training may further delay their entry into the workforce and increase the financial burden on them and their families.
"HND graduates don too suffer for this country." an individual lamented.
"Foreigners will be wondering if those with degrees get automatic employment after school."
