Federal Polytechnic Bali Rector Meets with Casual Workers to Discuss Welfare

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Bali, Dr. Mohammed Usman, held a meeting with casual workers on November 25, 2025, to discuss their welfare and working conditions.

He acknowledged their crucial role in maintaining the institution's hygiene, security, and daily operations, and urged coordinators to prioritize their welfare.

Dr. Usman explained that only 60% of the promised wage increment was implemented due to financial constraints, but efforts are ongoing to achieve full payment. He also directed stronger security measures, including stop-and-search protocols and vehicle entry permits.

The interactive session addressed concerns about permanent employment and National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) access, with the Rector clarifying that casual staff benefit from medical services individually.
