Tragedy Strikes Federal Polytechnic Bida as Two Students Die

The Federal Polytechnic Bida community has been thrown into mourning after two students, Mr. Bam and Aisha, were found dead in their lodge on June 8, 2024 .

Although the cause of death is yet to be confirmed, sources suggest that the students may have consumed poisonous food .
The police were alerted and upon arrival, they found the lifeless bodies of the students in the sitting room with leftover food and some tablets, which were taken for medical analysis . The Niger State Police Command has confirmed the incident and is currently investigating the matter .

The students of the polytechnic, including a SUG aspirant, Popzy, held a procession in honor of their deceased colleagues ³. The school management has also promised to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and has offered its condolences to the families of the deceased .
The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the academic community, and the polytechnic is working to ensure the safety and well-being of its students .
