Ekene Valentine Chidubem has been elected as the Students' Union Government (SUG) President-Elect of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, securing a decisive victory with 602 votes. His opponent, Uwadoka Wisom Eberechukwu, received 404 votes.

In a Facebook post, Chidubem expressed his gratitude to Nigerian students and supporters for their trust.
